Limit your Exposure to Worldly Wisdom

Limit your Exposure to Worldly Wisdom Avoid overexposure with too many sources. The Bible is our only true source. There is nothing wrong with Bible study, even intense study, in order to really get to the fullness of a topic and extract everything of value from it. However, as with anything, you have to stay in balance , not only with your time and energy, but also with the materials that you use during you research and the places you go to in order to collect that data. The Bible foretells in Daniel , that in the last days, "knowledge will increase" (Dan.12:4) . I believe this 'knowledge' will be the vast resources like the internet, books, and videos at our disposal. We can collect vast arrays of material from multiple sources quickly and easily today, but the more material you have

The Simplicity of Grace Living

The Simplicity of Grace Living A short while ago I watched a video of a theological debate featuring 3 prominent speakers who represent 3 different denominations. As a host asked various questions, each of the panelists would respond, and the theology of these participants differed from mildly to wildly depending on the questions. It was interesting to watch how each defended their particular view of theology, and even though they validated their points with scriptures and good arguments, it was quite sad to see how they made the whole debate complex and divisive based on their differences. Can you image the debates that those philosophers had, each believing in a different god and different theologies. How mu

Scripture Falls into Place (Part 2) My shift from a covenantal position to a dispensational position did not happen by trickery. I had a full and clear comprehension of my new position and stance. For forty years I was exposed and taught in the covenantal position, but when my understanding opened to the dispensational interpretation, it was as if the Word started to bloom and come alive. I had absolutely no hesitancy in receiving the scriptures in this light. It made complete and absolute sense and I found everything become understandable, agreeable and revelatory. It eliminated the confusion and contradictions that I had struggled with for years, it just became so clear and exciting. Where the Word was cumbersome and tedious, it become irresistible and real, something I couldn't put down, something I couldn't wait to delve into daily, something that fed my heart and changed my walk. I know I cannot speak for anyone else, but this was my personal experience and som
